The mission of the conference is to present an exclusive series of lectures, panel discussions and experiential workshops delivered by legendary founders of transpersonal psychology and key figures of the current transpersonal movement, as well as by young and progressive adepts. Our aim is to facilitate a major gathering of scholars, researchers, practitioners, supporters and all other kinds of people interested in transpersonal movement and new paradigm sciences.
We would like to honor and celebrate 50 years of the existence of transpersonal psychology as well as to follow the tradition of large international transpersonal conferences of the past. After exactly 25 years from the first and highly successful conference at “the heart of Europe”, we are again calling a transpersonal assembly in our beautiful and “magic” city Prague, famous for its important role in the history of spirituality, alchemy and science.

Congreso Plantas sagradas en las Americas

Sacred Plants in the Americas has the primary purpose of exploring and discussing aspects related to the diversity of uses of psychoactive plants throughout history and in different geographical areas, as well as their current use, both in traditional and none-traditional contexts, scientific research, empirical experiences, cultural manifestations and the ways in which governments have attempted to control these practices.
The issues of drug policy reform are intersectional, particularly in Latin American. The public, political and academic discussions in Mexico over the last two years have primarily focused on the regulation of cannabis for medicinal purposes. Recently a federal reform was approved, so it is pertinent to provide spaces for discussion on other topics, such as those concerning sacred plants and their increasing diversity of uses.
The content of the Congress will be divided into: history and anthropology of shamanic and religious uses of sacred plants, traditional medicine, urban and contemporary uses, science on the therapeutic uses of plants and their psychoactive compounds, as well as the politics surrounding them.

Meet the experts of Kew Gardens - guided tours
Jeden Monat geht es um bestimmte Pilze und Pflanzengattungen.
August waren Salvias dran, interessant sicher auch wenn es um Pilze (im Oktober) geht.
Wer die Möglichkeit hat hinzufahren oder in der Nähe ist, sollte sie beim Schopf packen.
"During the guided tour you'll meet Kew's knowledgeable and enthusiastic staff and go behind the scenes to areas of the Gardens not normally seen by the public. You'll gain an insight into different aspects of work that Kew undertakes in areas of science, horticulture and conservation.
Meet the horticultural staff who care for the plants and fungi growing in the collections and the science staff who undertake research and conservation work behind the scenes. You'll come away with a much greater understanding of Kew's important work around the world.
Depending on the featured plant or fungus the tour could include a visit to the Jodrell Laboratory, the Herbarium or one of our Nurseries. You'll see how Kew's research can be used to help people across the globe with re-forestation and finding alternative crops for farming in remote areas.
Tours will be mainly outside, but you may be taken to different areas behind the scenes at Kew
All locations are wheelchair accessible
There is a limit of 15 people per tour and places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please be at the information desk by 11.15am. The tour will start directly at 11.30am."
