Jéne Néte: A Shipibo Poetry Book is not your typical poetry book. It’s a rare and powerful resource for students of consciousness. Our intention is to raise awareness, share perspective, and preserve the language and culture of the Shipibo Nation. The book expresses the voice of the Shipibo community and their cosmo-vision.
We have been in the Amazon for 2 months with the Huni Kuin tribe, filming a documentary about their culture and fight for survival, a film that unveils their unique culture, way of living and work with spirituality, which is the main way they act in the world. A film what was meant to be we 15 minutes became a feature film with many interviews of spiritual leaders and healers, ceremonies and cure practices, so we now need funds to finish this film and share this story and their views with the world.
Botanical Dimensions Digital Media Library Project
Botanical Dimensions, along with Taproot Media, is applying to Mountain Rose Herbs for one of their small grants. Here is the film we created for the proposal. Our intention is to use the grant to dig into our substantial audio and video archives, and begin to edit and title them so that we may share all these great presentations with you all. It's a big project, but this would be a great way to begin it. Lectures and classes by Kathleen Harrison, many guest teachers, and our special events have been recorded. We even have a collection of short cameos of 24 key Amazonian plants, spoken in Spanish by a Peruvian botanist, which will be subtitled in English. 65% der Einnahmen gehen an die Shipibo-KünstlerInnen und 35% an Alianza Arkana für zukünftige Projekte.

Das Malbuch Kené Sikati Kirika ist das Produkt der Zusammenarbeit zwischen Alianza Arkana, einer indigenen NGO, welche die Shipibo-Konibo-Kultur bewahren und den Amazonas-Regenwald schützen will, und einem Kollektiv von 30 jungen Shipibo-KoniboKünstler*innen. Das Buch enthält neben den Kené-Designs auch Porträts und Erzählungen der Künstler*innen. Das Werk ist schon in der Darstellung besonders, denn ein Shipibo-Konibo-Fotograf hat den Inhalt des Malbuches durch seine indigene Linse eingefangen. Die Künstler*innen, jung und alt, teilen so ihre Kosmovision und Kultur auf eine ganz eigene und innovative Weise mit der Welt.
DiEM 25 (Democracy in Europe Movement 2025)
ist eine gesamteuropäische, fortschrittliche Bewegung,
die darauf abzielt, die EU zu demokratisieren, bevor sie sich auflöst.
Unser Bestreben, Veränderungen herbeizuführen, ist in unserem Green New Deal für Europa verankert.
Europa leidet derzeit unter fünf Krisen: Schuldenkrise, Bankenkrise, Armut, geringe Investitionen und Migration. DiEM25 ist das Netzwerk, in dem Demokraten aller politischen Richtungen tätig werden, um gemeinsame Antworten auf diese Krisen zu entwickeln.
Wir fordern auch grundlegende Änderungen: EU-Institutionen, die ursprünglich entwickelt wurden, um nur der Industrie Vorteile zu verschaffen, müssen vollständig transparent und den BürgerInnen rechenschaftspflichtig werden.
